Key Responsibilities
- 1We're looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Workshop Manager who still loves being hands-on with cars but is ready to take greater ownership within a busy prestige and performance workshop.
- 2Our client is a growing independent performance automotive specialist based in Fareham, working with an impressive range of high-end vehicles.
- 3They are now looking for a strong senior figure who can combine excellent technical ability with workshop leadership and become a key member of the team as the business continues to grow.
- 4The Opportunity
- 5You'll remain very much hands-on, carrying out complex mechanical, electrical and diagnostic work, while also helping to keep the workshop running efficiently.
- 6You'll support the other technicians, help prioritise and oversee work, maintain high standards and step in on the more challenging technical and diagnostic jobs.

- 10What You'll Be Doing
- 11Complex mechanical, electrical and diagnostic fault finding
- 12Servicing, maintenance and repairs across modern prestige and performance vehicles
- 13Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve faults
- 14Supporting and guiding other technicians
- 15Helping allocate and prioritise workshop jobs
- 16Keeping workflow moving efficiently
- 17Maintaining and quality-checking workshop standards
- 18Taking the lead on more involved technical problems
- 19Working closely with management as the workshop continues to develop
- 20What We're Looking For
- 21You'll already be a highly capable all-round technician who is confident working independently and solving difficult problems.
- 22Ideally, you'll have:
- 23Strong modern vehicle diagnostic experience
- 24Excellent mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- 25Experience working with prestige, performance or premium vehicles
- 26Previous senior, supervisory, workshop controller or foreman experience
- 27Confidence supporting and guiding other technicians
- 28A good understanding of workshop workflow and standards
- 29Level 3 Automotive qualification or equivalent
- 30Full UK driving licence
- 31Genuine enthusiasm for cars and pride in your work
