- We're looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Team Leader to join a well-established and growing recruitment business in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to lead, develop and grow a team while remaining hands-on with your own clients and business development.
- The Role
- As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for managing, mentoring and motivating a team of Recruitment Consultants, ensuring they achieve both individual and team targets while maintaining exceptional service levels for clients and candidates.
- You'll lead from the front by continuing to bill, developing new business opportunities and helping shape the future growth of the Derby office.

- 2Lead, coach and develop a team of Recruitment Consultants.
- 3Set individual and team objectives, monitoring performance against KPIs and revenue targets.
- 4Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- 5Support consultants with client meetings, negotiations and candidate management.
- 6Drive new business development and expand existing client relationships.
- 7Manage your own recruitment desk, generating consistent billings.
- 8Recruit, onboard and train new consultants as the team grows.
- 9Ensure best practice recruitment processes and compliance are maintained.
- 10Foster a positive, high-performance and collaborative team culture.
- 11Report on team performance and contribute to business strategy.

- Previous experience as a Recruitment Team Leader, Managing Consultant, Principal Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant.
- A proven track record of billing and winning new business.
- Experience managing, mentoring or developing recruitment consultants.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset.
- The ability to lead by example in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
