Job Overview

- 5Sales Support
- 6Preparing quotations, proposals, and customer documentation
- 7Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records
- 8Providing administrative support to the sales function
- 9Customer Service
- 10Acting as a key point of contact for existing customers
- 11Responding to enquiries, requests, and service-related queries
- 12Managing customer expectations and maintaining strong relationships
- 13Order & Project Coordination
- 14Managing orders from initial enquiry through to completion
- 15Monitoring progress and proactively addressing delays
- 16Keeping customers informed throughout the process
- 17Operational Coordination
- 18Scheduling and coordinating engineers
- 19Raising purchase orders and invoices
- 20Liaising with internal teams including sales, engineering, logistics, and finance
- 21Day-to-Day Activities
- 22Responding to customer emails and telephone enquiries
- 23Processing orders, purchase orders, and invoices
- 24Updating internal systems and spreadsheets
- 25Coordinating engineer schedules
- 26Supporting sales of equipment and spare parts
- 27Candidate Requirements
- 28Experience in a coordination, administrative, or customer-facing role
- 29Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- 30Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- 31Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word essential)
- 32Experience with Sage (desirable but not essential)
- 33Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- 34A proactive and team-oriented approach
- 35Knowledge or experience within the Marine industry (commercial or naval)
- 36Working Environment & Benefits

- 3835-hour working week (excluding lunch breaks)
